The cinema café is an activity organized by 3TAMIS to bring Bukavu filmmakers to discuss films. It is a program set up with the aim of reinforcing the concepts acquired in various training courses offered to these artists. After reflection, we found it useful to create a moment where these actors can meet and recall the material learned. So, they are gathered around a film that they follow and then they discuss about this film. They cover all the technical aspects. It is more interesting to discuss about local films. After watching the film, the director answers questions from his comrades and must explain the approach taken to achieve the result presented.

This activity

We found the approach interesting because the discussions held allow us to recall the theoretical notions learned and we see how the artist applies them in his works. It is also an opportunity to allow newcomers to welcome new knowledge through those who are more advanced in the field.

These young artists having noticed flaws in the performance of the characters, they added training in acting to this activity. This novelty attracts young people who want to become movie stars. Saturday at 3TAMIS is dedicated solely to this activity.
